This new turbo represents Mitsubishi's approach to a high performance bolt on turbo for the Evo X. The quality is OE as you'd expect, the engineering inside this journal bearing version is more than capable of giving the turbo a long trouble free life even with its increased wheel diameters.

This turbo gave the best blend of response and top end power of any bolt on turbo we have tested and comes highly recommended from Ross Sport.
It also fits in nicely with the structural limits of the standard Evo X engine with steel rod upgrade
The turbo was installed on our Evo X RS and then taken to APT for tuning - see graphs above comparing with our Evo X when it was stock.
The turbine wheel is a new TF06-07 mated to an all new billet 18KX3RC billet compressor wheel co-designed by Forced Performance. The compressor cover has also been redesigned and features a 3" inlet and surge ports. The stock wastegate actuator has been upgraded in favour of this new MHI high pressure 18PSI actuator. What does this mean for you? A stock frame turbocharger, designed by the best in the business, manufactured by the company that built your car, that's capable of stock like spool, and producing around 54LB a minute.
This turbo is capable of producing 490-540bhp with the correct supporting modifications..
