This turbocharger is a direct replacement for the OEM unit on Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX. All Owen Development’s modified Mitsubishi turbochargers are based on genuine MHI TD05 cores and feature our HTA™ Billet Aluminium Compressor Wheels. For five years these wheels have been honed in a Motorsport environment and combine light weight and cutting edge aerodynamics for optimal performance.
Owen Developments offer a ball bearing upgrade to replace the standard journal bearing; this greatly increases the transient response of the turbocharger.

The 71HTA is basically an Evo IX turbo with 71mm (Exducer) HTA billet compressor wheel. Flow rate 47lb/min
It offers stock spool, with increased flow at moderate boost levels. Suited to bith 2.0 and stroker engine. This turbo fills the gap between the Evo IX turbo and the Evo Green model. It offers a healthy increase in power of standard turbos without sacrificing drivability or reliability.
As used on our 2014 championship winning MLR Sprint car. This little turbo can punch well above its weight! Ultra responsive, with a power band that would embarrass most!
